 upcoming episode
On Sunday the 26th of March

"The ecological and humanitarian tragedy of the Aral Sea "

One of the world's most dire human-induced environmental catastrophes is the rapid disappearence of the Aral Sea in central Asia. It's water has been used for unsustainable cotton farming, beginning in the Soviet era and continuing under the current dictatorship in Uzbekistan.
The tragedy that has unfolded over the past 40 years has had enormous ecological and human consequences. Gia Kjellén of the Swedish Aral Sea Society will be the studio guest on Think Globally this Sunday to provide historical background as well as the current situation and what efforts are underway to save the Aral Sea and those that depend on it.

Think Globally is produced and co-hosted by Eric Paglia and Dave Trouba. The show can be heard live every second Sunday (even weeks) at 7:00 pm (kl 19:00 CET) on THS Radio 95,3 Mhz in Stockholm.
